ADR CUE Creator - Department Notes - Foley Cue

This Package of templates is designed to quickly navigate to your character tracks, or foley cue tracks and create Clip Groups for ADR or Foley Cueing. Each template/script prompts you for slighty diffrent information depending on your desired workflow but are basically all theme and variations on GO TO A TRACK -> CREATE CLIP GROUP OF SELECTION -> ENTER TEXT -> Return To Originally Selected Track

YOU MUST NOT HAVE YOUR CLIP BIN SEARCHING FOR THESE TO WORK... PLEASE CLEAR FIND - cmd+shift+D -- BEFORE STARTING ANY CUING

Create ADR CUES Fixed Text - This template will navigate to the Track designated in your preset enter preset text then return you to your original track selection.

**Create ADR CUES Specific Track EDICUE **- ADR cue creator to go with EDICUE huge thanks the @Chris_Shaw for walking me through this -https://forum.soundflow.org/-6215. Updated so the Addtional Tags and Priority are optional. (Thanks @kitch)

**ADR Cue Select Track EDICUE - **Like the above except user defines the track each time the script is run.

**Create New ADR cue Track - **Creates a new ADR cue Track with the EDICUE naming convention no need to add the [ ] and the { } Simply enter Character name - 3 digit ID - Actor Name and a new track will be created.

**Department Notes - **Found I needed this, just like the others but only asking for one line of text. Updated for user defined default text. Use this if you simply want one text box prompt to a dedicated channel. This now will create a 1 second clip group if no slection is made thanks to @samuel_henriques

**Department Notes Searchable - **Same as above script except user defines Track on each button press.

**Scroll to Folder before creating new ADR cue Track **- Simple macro that takes me to my ADR Cuing folder before making a new ADR CUE Track

**Create Group CUE **- Draws from https://forum.soundflow.org/-6077 to create a naming convention then from https://forum.soundflow.org/-1551 to place in your group tracks.

**Grp Specific **- Added for Mike Mullane, Combines the functionality of Grp CUE with the simplicty of Department Notes

**Edicue Interface Version - **Like working with the Edicue session interface instead of SF prompts, this one's for you, navigate to the character track create group and send you to edicue

  • **-WARNING- LITTLE HACK AT THE END **before using the script go to Menu : Edit | Shift... and click on these settings :

This is a workaround for the Christian script which will overlay if the track is the exact same Length.

**Create Group Cue =Scene= **- Same as above script however it will make a selection the length of your =SCENE= track (can change name as desired in code) creating your cue that length. I reccomend using the regular Groupe Cue button for any addtional full scene cues, pressing this one again will move you to the next scene due to the nature of the 1 subfame shift. (Which maybe is a bonus?)

ADR CUE Creator - Department Notes - Foley Cue  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'ADR CUE Creator - Department Notes - Foley Cue' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
