  • Howling Music Library.

Can you describe how SoundFlow has improved the way you work?

It has improved pretty much every facet of my workflow. From creating a new session file with the current date, populating that session quickly with a modular template by recalling track presets, moving through the session efficiently with fundamental commands mapped to the extra buttons on my mouse, and finally wrapping everything up with automated bouncing of stems and mixes.

Can you describe how much time you save with SoundFlow?

It saves me anywhere between 1-3 hours plus a lot of wrist pain.

Tell us about a feature in SoundFlow that excites you

There are many features I like, but the fact that we can use any iOS device to trigger commands is awesome. SoundFlow has become popular through the use of Stream Decks, but, when I was starting out, I didn't want to purchase one out of the gate until I knew this was going to be somewhat permanent in my workflow. I loved that I was able to grab an old iPad I had lying around and use it to do everything that can be done with a Stream Deck and much more! We call these "surfaces" and I'd encourage users to check them out!

Why would you recommend SoundFlow to others?

It sounds cliche but SoundFlow gives us creatives the keys to unlock our full potential. If you're a professional and you're not currently taking advantage of automation then I would encourage you to give SoundFlow a try. Not only for the product itself but for the amazing community attached to it.

SoundFlow is the most significant upgrade that has happened to my workflow. It allows me to perform tedious and time-consuming procedures with the simple push of a button. I can now create features that may be too niche for the developers to implement in the DAW. Simply put, I cannot imagine a future where I can work without SoundFlow.
