SoundFlow AI Policy

With SoundFlow 6, we're introducing new AI-powered capabilities – most notably the Session Assistant – to make creative workflows faster and more intuitive.

Our goal is not to replace human creativity, but to empower creators to stay in their flow and focus on what they do best: making great work. SoundFlow's AI features are designed as tools that support, not substitute, the artist, engineer, or editor.

Responsible AI

SoundFlow is committed to the principles of Responsible AI, in alignment with Avid's initiative. We believe AI should be transparent, fair, and accountable – always serving to augment human decision-making and enhance creative potential. Every AI feature in SoundFlow is developed with respect for user intent, privacy, and safety.

What models we use

Currently, the Session Assistant uses language models from OpenAI, accessed securely via their API. We continuously evaluate model providers to ensure they meet our standards for reliability, privacy, and ethical use.

Use of data

SoundFlow does not use any data shared with the Session Assistant to train our models – or the models of any third party. Conversations and context shared with AI features are processed solely to provide relevant responses within your current session, and are not stored or reused for training purposes.
