Automation EQ

Fast eq automation workflow.

This program will run if If FabFilter Pro-Q 4 is present on the first insert of the selected track.

Trigger the script Automation EQ PT Ultimate PQ4 and

on first run,

the program will set automation preview -> open FabFilter Pro-Q 4.

Then on second run,

the program will write to all automation -> deselect preview automation.

Automation EQ PT Lite was intended for the not ultimate versions of protools before they had the "write to all automation" feature.

Using command with your trigger will let you set if the Pro-Q plugin window stays open or closed after writing automation. So you need two triggers for the Automation EQ PT Ultimate PQ4 script, one is your choice of trigger and a new one with your choice of trigger + command.

How do I get Automation EQ?

Automation EQ  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'Automation EQ' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
