Convert UAD to UADx compatiable plugins

Be it a single instance or your entire session - convert all your UAD (DSP) instances to UADx (native) compatiable versions!

There are 3 macros included in this package that will help you convert existing dsp based UAD-2 plugins to its accompanying native equivalent.

Convert Single Instance - whichever UAD plugin is currently selected and focused

Convert Whole Track - converts all UAD instances found on the currently selected track to their UADx version

Convert Entire Session - scans the entire session for UAD and UADx compatiable plugins and converts accordingly

Features

    • Preserves all settings as per the original UAD instance
    • Maintains original single, multichannel and multi-mono (including unlinked/independent channels) instantiations

  • Ignores inactive tracks and inactive inserts

Important Notes

When executing the Convert Entire Session script it will save the currently open session as is and then conduct a "Save As" with "UADx" appended to the filename so you can easily revert back to the previous session in the event of an error.

There are a handful of automated mouse clicks throughout the process, it is recommended that before you use the Convert Entire Session script that you have assigned a trigger to soundflows "stop all command" function found in SoundFlow's default script library in the event you want to cancel the scan.

How do I get UAD to UADx Converter?

UAD to UADx Converter  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'UAD to UADx Converter' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
