Batch Track Bounce
Select multiple Pro Tools session folders to batch process Track Bounces.
Session Prep:
1. Timeline Selection: Make a timeline selection for the bounce in each session. Alternatively, use the “Set Bounce Timeline Selection” command to store a selection in the session’s memory.
**2. Track Selection: **Ensure the tracks you want to track bounce are either:
Placed in a unique group (set the "Group Name" in your preset), or
Individually specified by name (set "Track Names" in your preset).
Usage:
**1. Select Sessions: **In Finder, select one or more session folders you wish to process.
**2. Run the Script: **Trigger this script from one of My Presets. When prompted, choose whether to:
Only track bounce, or
Track bounce and export the bounced tracks to a new Pro Tools session.
Notes:
**1. Bounce & Export: **If you choose “Bounce & Export,” the exported sessions will be saved to your specified Export Session Path, with the Export Session Suffix added to their file and folder names.
**2. Session Save-As: **Original sessions will also be saved-as with the Suffix(es) appended after bouncing.
**3. Error Logging: **Any errors encountered will be logged to a text file in your Export Path.
How do I get Batch Track Bounce?
Batch Track Bounce is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:
Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.
Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.
Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab
Locate the 'Batch Track Bounce' package by searching in the search field.
Click the Install button.
