A collection of scripts to help with session prep and management. This package includes scripts for moving tracks to existing folders via search, adding tracks or updating existing groups via search, creating new tracks from track presets via search, loading track presets on selected tracks via search, setting the default output bus for the session, and so much more.

This is a small collection of Pro Tools Utilities I have put together from the generous SoundFlow Forums and lots of google searches.

All scripts here are open source.

Pro Tools 2023.9+ Suggested.

Misc

  • Measure Loudness with Pro Limiter Loudness Analyzer (Track 3or Aux)

  • Move and Route Tracks to Existing Folder (Searchable or Named Folder)

  • Move Tracks to Existing Folder (Searchable)

  • Route Track(s) to Parent Folder

  • Select Parent Track Folder

  • Select Tracks of Type within Track Selection

  • Set Default Output Bus

Automation (Requires Pro Tools 2024.6+)

  • Show Automation Lanes for Tracks (All Tracks or All Selected Tracks)

  • Toggle Automation Lanes for Selected Tracks

Bouncing and Exporting

  • Bounce Current Session w Bounce Preset (Single Session)

  • Bounce Current Session w User Settings (Single Session)

  • Export Selected Clips as Files (with Session Format)

Groups

  • Add Tracks to Existing Group (Searchable or By Name)

  • Select All Following Clips for Named Group

  • Update Selected Group With Selected Tracks (Searchable or By Name)

Track Presets

  • Create New Tracks from Track Presets (Searchable)

  • Load Track Preset for Selected Track (Searchable)

Oldies - These Probably Won't Be Updated

  • Clip Pitch

  • Reset and Turn Off Pre/Post Roll

  • Show Only Selected VCAs, their Children, and Named Tracks

  • Show Only Selected VCAs, their Children, and Named Tracks: Restore Previously Shown Tracks

  • Toggle Track Width on Empty Audio Track

How do I get CW Pro Tools Utilities?

CW Pro Tools Utilities  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'CW Pro Tools Utilities' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
