BEIGE Section - Moving Clips To tracks :

  • Move Recorded Clip To Selected Track (Not available on the deck, as it is reserved for a keyboard shortcut assignment) : After positioning the cursor at the correct timecode on the target track, retrieve the corresponding recorded clip and paste it into the specified region. Currently, this only works for mono tracks and without fades.

  • Move To Available Track XXX : Once the clip is selected, move it to the first available track in folder XXX. Currently, this only works with mono tracks.

  • Move To Available Track XXX (invert) : Once the clip is selected, move it to the first available track starting from the bottom in folder XXX. Currently, this only works with mono tracks.

  • Move To Available Track XXX (A-B) : “Once the clip is selected, move it to the first available track in folder XXX, taking into account only tracks from A to B. Currently, this only works with mono tracks.

PINK Section - Naming And Visualization :

  • 1 - "Pres" (Rename & Update Folders) // 3 - "Mains" (Rename & Update Folders) : Rename the recording track and update folder tracks visualization.

  • 2a-d - "Perso 1-4" (Pas) (Rename & Update Folders) : Rename the recording track based on four available presets and update folder tracks visualization.

  • 4 - "Acc" (Rename & Update Folders) // 5 - "FX" (Rename & Update Folders) : Give the user control over the name by opening the naming dialog box and update folder tracks visualization.

BLUE Section - Audiosuite :

  • AD : Clear - Supertone 1-2 : Open Clear (AudioSuite plug-in), open preset 1-2, render and close window.

  • AD : De-click - Izotope RX 1-2 : Open De-click (AudioSuite plug-in), open preset 1-2, render and close window.

  • AD : Oxford Envolution - Sonnox 1-2-3-4 : Open Oxford Envolution (AudioSuite plug-in), open preset 1-2-3-4, render and close window.

  • Pre-roll Enable / Disable : Enable or disable Pro Tools pre-roll via the Extended Transport window (show it if it is hidden).

  • Post-roll Enable / Disable : Enable or disable Pro Tools post-roll via the Extended Transport window (show it if it is hidden).

  • RED Section - Show / Hide extra recording track :

  • Record Track "AIR" (Show) : Activate and show the extra recording track, enable input, and update input routing to route each microphone to a separate recording track.

  • Record Track "AIR" (Hide) : Disable and hide the extra recording track, then update input routing to sum all microphones into the main recording track.

GREEN Section - Miscellaneous :

  • Pre-roll Enable / Disable : Toggle the Pro Tools Pre-Roll and open the Extended Transport Window if it’s not visible, since this is, for the moment, the only way to control Pre-Roll and Post-Roll separately.

  • Post-roll Enable / Disable : Toggle the Pro Tools Post-Roll ans open the Extended Transport Window if it’s not visible, since this is, for the moment, the only way to control Pre-Roll and Post-Roll separately.

  • Create Marker : Create a marker, even while playback or recording is active. Two versions of the code exist depending on the Pro Tools version.

  • Insert : Oxford Envolution (Toggle bypass) : Activate or deactivate both Oxford plugin inserts on the microphone input tracks at the same time. Adjust if the insert slot numbers are changed.

How do I get Foley - 8x4 Deck?

Foley - 8x4 Deck  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'Foley - 8x4 Deck' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
