ISOL8

Shortcut to check a mix by bands «a là Shawn Everett» using the Free plugin ISOL8. It can also isolate per channel (left, right, mid) and swap the left and right to check the balance (something I learned from having a bit of hearing loss from one ear). Feel free to customize further to get to this deck and back to your main deck

Here's my first package to check mixes per band. You'll need to also have the Basics and Pro Tools package for this work well!

I advise to customize the ISOL8 TO macro to toggle the plugin and show the deck. The Master channel is set to «INSIGHTS» for me, rename the track to fit your template.

How do I get ISOL8?

ISOL8  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'ISOL8' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
