Select Between Markers, Trim and Fade

Selects Pro Tools Track material between two markers on a marker track.

Just a macro that selects Pro Tools track material between two existing markers on a marker track, trims and fades

To set up, you may have to find out where your scene track exists relative to the display you're using. To do this, use MacOS screen capture - pixel range function (Command + Shift + 4). Placing the cross hair on the marker track you'd like to utilize will give you the X,Y coordinates to enter into the Mouse Click Macro.

Drop your cursor on the tracks you want to include in the selection. Fire the Macro. It will trim the material with one frame handle on either end and include a 2 frame fade in and out.

Great for trimming and fading a scene's worth of BG bed tracks, for example.

Select Between Markers, Trim and Fade  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'Select Between Markers, Trim and Fade' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
