SpectraLayers integration for SoundFlow and Pro Tools. The package provides one-click roundtrip workflows between Pro Tools and SpectraLayers, automatic AudioSuite handling, preview playback, rendering, clip color coding, and a collection of utility modules for faster dialogue and restoration work.

This SoundFlow package streamlines the entire SpectraLayers workflow inside Pro Tools, eliminating repetitive manual steps and making spectral editing significantly faster.

Besides several utility modules and window management functions, the package includes fully automated roundtrip scripts that handle communication between Pro Tools and SpectraLayers.

Roundtrip Workflow

**Send to SpectraLayers **

  1. Select one or more clips in Pro Tools.

  2. Run “SpectraLayers: Send to SL”.

  3. The selected audio is transferred to SpectraLayers for editing.

Edit in SpectraLayers

  1. Perform any required spectral edits.

  2. Save or process the audio as needed.

Send Back to Pro Tools

  1. Run “SpectraLayers: Send Back to PT”.

  2. The script automatically:

    • Opens the appropriate AudioSuite window.

    • Starts Preview playback when required.

    • Renders the processed audio.

    • Applies clip color coding to visually distinguish processed clips from untouched material.

How do I get SS_SpectraLayers?

SS_SpectraLayers  is a package built on the SoundFlow platform. To get it, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign up as a new SoundFlow user if you don't already have an account.

  2. Install the SoundFlow app on your Mac.

  3. Open up the SoundFlow app, click the "Store" tab

  4. Locate the 'SS_SpectraLayers' package by searching in the search field.

  5. Click the Install button.
